About the Role

The Oracle Integration Cloud Specialist is a fixed term fulltime role for 3 years. To be successful in the role, you must provide an on-going support and management of the integration, applications and components within the Department of Transport and Planning's Construction and Engineering business.

Position Outcomes

• Provision of specialist technical expertise in the maintenance of interface processes and APIs/web services within a System Integration platform OIC for connecting applications, data, and equipment, in a large and complex environment and across several different data transfer technologies.
• Development of appropriate integration solutions in consultation with external vendors and internal stakeholders
• Ensuring alignment to best practice patterns for EAI and appropriate software development methodologies are followed.
• Maintain required documentation including specifications, functional and technical design, unit test cases and Test summary reports.
• Strategical management and Monitoring of integrations and custom applications on OCI PaaS.
• Development and maintenance of BI publisher reports in Oracle ERP Cloud.
• Develop and maintain custom application using Oracle Visual Builder Studio VBCS.

Key Selection Criteria

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong technical knowledge in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for developing, troubleshooting, and managing integrations within Cloud and on-premises applications.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud PaaS platform, custom applications and building integrations utilising BPEL, REST and SOAP webservices with variety of systems and end points.
• Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher reports, PL SQL, GIT, ITSM (Service now), POSTMAN and SOAP UI Tools.
• Experience in estimating effort to design, build, deploy and test based on integration patterns and complexity.
• Experience in working with Oracle ERP Cloud, other Oracle SaaS applications and 3rd party cloud applications.
• Experience in developing custom applications using VBCS, APEX and ORDS.
• Expertise in PL SQL, Service now, POSTMAN and SOAP UI Tools.
• Hands on experience in programming languages Java and Java script.
• Basic understanding of OCI, IDCS, and Oracle security.

Qualifications and Experience

Mandatory

• Extensive experience in IT systems, Oracle OIC, and Oracle ERP.
• Experience on a large ERP implementation project.
• Experience designing and developing Application Integrations using SOAP and REST.

Desirable

• Relevant tertiary degree would be well regarded.
• Certification in oracle cloud technologies.
