Sr Oracle Functional Analyst to provide system operational support for Oracle Fixed Assets within the Oil & Gas Industry

Responsibilities:

• This position will provide functional solution expertise to the OFA (Oracle Fixed Assets) Oracle cloud module within the CBS TIS operations team.
• This is a key role to support the enterprise OFA solution that includes daily operational support and identifying solutions that meet the business requirements.
• Candidate should possess a background in finance with functional expertise within the OFA Oracle Cloud module.
• This role will work closely with the business, TIS AMS partners, and TIS Operations teams to deliver solutions and provide operational excellence.

 
Must Haves:

• 7+ yrs. experience as an Oracle Functional Analyst (or similar)
• Experience providing system operation support for Oracle Fixed Assets
• Experience Implementing or Supporting Oracle modules such Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Financial Accounting Hub, Subledger Accounting and it’s integration to other Oracle ERP Modules

 
Nice to Have:

• Oil & Gas industry experience
• Oracle PPM experience
• Understanding of accounting treatment of capital related items under Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP and regulatory filings such as FERC and NEB)
• Understanding of Project accounting and capital asset business process (Project Structures, Asset Creation & Maintenance, Unitization, Retirement, AFUDC, Depreciation, ARO, Mass Property, Lease Accounting etc.)
