 FAH Common Schema for Journal Import

The integration involves the import of journals from the AHCS Common Schema, preparation of the Oracle ERP cloud XLA transactions template, and the load into Oracle ERP Cloud via AHCS. The accounting transformation of legacy chart of accounts data will be handled by Oracle AHCS.

Import Journal Entries Upload - AHCS Common Schema

Three Oracle application involved in entire process flow.

1. OIC
2. AHCS
3. Oracle GL

Process Flow:

• Start (OIC)
• Common FAH Schema is updated with regulate data (OIC)
• Validate data (OIC)
• Format issue with identified FAH duplication (OIC)
• If YES then 
• 1.Notify Support  (OIC)
• 2.End (OGL)
• If NO then
• 1.Transform the data to XLA template and load to Oracle UCM (OIC)
• 2.Trigger Import Accounting Transactions Process (OIC)
• 3.Records rejected due to Interface Errors (OIC)
• If YES then
• 1.Notify Support (OIC)
• 2.Fix Interface (OIC) errors (OIC)
• 3.Transform the data to XLA template and load to Oracle UCM (OIC)
• If NO then
• Start  AHCS 

• Start  (AHCS)
• Trigger Create Accounting Process (AHCS)
• Rejected due to Create Accounting Errors (AHCS)
• If YES then
• 1.Notify Support  (AHCS)
• 2.Users to manually fix SLA Accounting Errors (AHCS)
• 3.Resubmit Create Accounting Process (AHCS)
• If NO then
• Start OGL

• Start (OGL)
• Import Journals Successful?
• If NO then
• 1.Notify Support  (OGL)
• 2.Users to manually fix GL Errors
• 3.Resubmit Import Journals
• If YES then
• 1.Balances posted to Oracle GL Cloud
• 2.Post journals successful?
• If NO then
• 1.Notify Support  (OGL)
• 2.Need to fix in AHCS? (OGL)
• If NO then
• 1.Users to manually fix GL errors (OGL)
• 2.Resubmit import journals (OGL)
• If  YES then
• 1.Manually adjustment in AHCS (AHCS)
• 2.Trigger Create Accounting Process (AHCS)
• If YES then
• 1.Notify Support (OGL)
• 2.OIC sends reconciliation notification to review and validate journal balances. (OGL)
• 3.Manual Reconciliation fails? (OGL)
• If NO then
• End (OGL)
• If YES then
• 1.Manually reverse the entry (OGL)
• 2.Fix AHCS Configuration (AHCS)
• 3. Start (OIC)
